Pixaboss – Random Pixabay Image Plugin

I have created a random image plugin that pulls a random image from Pixabay.

To use a this plugin, you will need a Pixabay.com API key. Head over to https://pixabay.com/ and register for an API key if you have not done so already!

So install and activate it on your WordPress site. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Log in to your WordPress site as an administrator.
  2. Go to the “Plugins” menu in the left-hand side of the dashboard.
  3. Click on the “Add New” button.
  4. Search for the Pixaboss plugin you want to install in the search field or upload it by clicking on the “Upload Plugin” button.
  5. Once the plugin is installed, click on the “Activate” button to enable it on your site.

After activating the plugin, you will get a widget with name Pixaboss in the blocks section when you have an active sidebar or register a new sidebar.

Drag the plugin to the sidebar. Enter the Pixabay API key in the textbox and update. That will complete the installation process. Now the random image will appear on the sidebar where you placed the plugin!

It’s also a good idea to regularly update your plugins to ensure that they are compatible with the latest version of WordPress and to benefit from any new features or security improvements.

To update a plugin, you can go to the “Plugins” menu and click on the “Update” button next to the plugin you want to update.

Download the plugin here.

The plugin is also submitted to WordPress official plugins directory.
